A Limited Edition of 50 archival giclée prints is issued on canvas, 30 x 40 inches (cm x cm), numbered and signed, with certificate of authenticity. The print is hand sealed with a varnish, followed by a layer of oil paint—hand embellished by the artist—using a glazing technique similar to that used in creating the original painting. $1950 on stretcher bars, unframed.

The Unlimited Edition of giclées on canvas is available in several sizes. These prints are indentical to the Limited Edition in quality of material and reproduction, but are not embellished by the artist. They are hand sealed with a varnish.

^*Upon seeing this image for the first time, a friend declared "The child is me." That's exactly what I meant to convey. I considered painting myself, recognizably, at about age seven or eight. Those were hard years for me. But I wanted the image to be universal, not a narrative of my childhood. I didn't want it to be a happy child, but rather, in the process of being comforted, and initially resistant. Any parent who has picked up a toddler throwing a tantrum knows that the kid doesn't instantly pacify. This painting is therefor an illustration of the patience of God, as he awaits our full realization of His love.
